Happy New Year!
We have been busy since our last post! Kyle's mom Sally was here for New Year's week and we did a lot of exploring around Edinburgh while she was here. Also, for those of you following our blog you will be happy to hear that my mother was given clearance to fly and is in the air as I type to return to Virginia. Her 1 week in Edinburgh turned into 3 weeks, but she definitely knows her way around Edinburgh now. It was nice to have her with us and we are both just thankful that her leg is healing and she was able to fly and get back to my poor father who is having to run the show at home with two German Shepherds and my younger brother.
This week it was back to work for me, but Kyle still has one more week off before he returns to his classes. This semester he has half as many classes as he did last semester, so it should be a much more enjoyable experience for him. He will be taking more individualized classes in the field that he is interested in (last semester was all core classes that all of the MBA students took). We are looking forward to a more relaxing semester, touch wood (that's what they say here instead of "knock on wood").
Here are some pictures of our adventures with Sally in Edinburgh, hope you enjoy!
